Reserve Cards

Starbucks Reserve coffees are the rarest on offer- sale is often limited to specific Reserve locations and each is always small batch. Each coffee comes complete with a Reserve Card that is designed specifically to tell that coffee’s story. These cards bring to life the coffee’s journey: their roasting and drying techniques, the location and climates they grew in, and the people who cultivated them.

Papua New Guinea: Moanti Peaberry

Grown in the Heganofi District of the Eastern Highlands in Papua New Guinea this coffee lot is comprised of a rare bean, the Peaberry. Peaberries are the result of coffee cherry beans that produce one seed vs. the normal two. These unique and intensely flavorful beans must be hand picked and sorted after processing making them a particular labor of love.

The artwork and custom typeface highlight the rarity of the peaberry through depicting it in foil next to its two bean coffee cherry neighbors. The large coffee branch is interwoven with the Heganofi District landscape of Papua New Guinea.
